Dates: July 22-26, 2024. Time: 8:00am - 3:30pm
One week full-day camp from 8:00am to 3.30pm. Lunch is not included - $450

Welcome to Week 8 of Art Dome Camp!

Fashion is one of the first ways we learn to express ourselves and it remains an important part of our identity throughout our lives. Children will learn how to bring designs from their imagination to paper, then into real life—blurring the boundaries between clothing and wearable art. We will sew, decorate, and paint. At the end of the week, we will have a runway show where parents are welcome to celebrate young designers at Art Dome!

Monday:

Morning: Learning about patterns and designs, working on 3 or 4 designs from sketch to model.

Afternoon: T-shirt painting/decorating for the show.

Tuesday:

Morning: Learning about accessories: “Jewelry" jewelry-making class.

Afternoon: Machine sewing class.

Wednesday:

Morning: Accessories "Bags and Belts" bag sewing class.

Afternoon: Clothes decorating with ribbons and buttons.

Thursday:

Morning: Accessories, "Hats and Gloves" excursion into history, hat making/decorating class.

Afternoon: Children will work on their designs.

Friday:

Learning how to walk on a podium.

Afternoon: Fashion Show! Party On The Runway ! Parents and friends are welcome to come at 2 pm.
